‘Tis the Season!
I love Christmas time. As a kid, I was the one that did all the handmade from-the-heart gifts. Old childhood photos put into handmade cards perfect for reminiscing, artwork I attempted to make myself gifted with pretty wrappings, you name it. I always knew that my handmade concoctions would surely bring my sentimental father to tears. Well, safe to say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. I am the sappiest of the sappy.
I’ve always wanted to gift my brides and grooms with something special around the holidays. This year I worked extra hard to make sure I used some of my favourite vendors that specialize in handmade goods to do that. It’s been almost a full year since I started collecting ribbons, glass photo boxes and handmade papers. While my calligraphy could use some serious work, I think the overall product turned out beautifully. As a maker I have this appreciation for anything done by hand and my hopes are to pass that on to my clients.
See the end of the post for information on how to find the vendors used for these gifts.
