This wedding is so near and dear to my heart. Heather and Craig have become family to me in the last 3 years or so and being asked to capture their wedding day was such an honour. These two and their families have been through hell and back in the last year, and to see them all so happy and beautiful brought me to tears multiple times throughout the day. Loosing Craig’s Mom Di last summer was devastating for everyone in their close knit group, but the support and love that surrounds this couple is something remarkable, and it was something amazing to see on their big day.
It was a beautiful wintery New Years Eve. Warm enough that the maids didn’t freeze their butts off, but cold enough that the snow stayed on the ground. We’d been praying for the last year that we would have snow for this day, and thankfully we got what we asked for. If you haven’t heard of Bellamere Estates in London, Ontario it’s seriously stunning! The grounds and the chapel are a thing of my daydreams, perfect for this beautiful party.
The way Craig looks at Heather is something to be envied. Their love is one of the most authentic I’ve seen yet. This couple is the real thing. These two are going place and I wish them so much happiness in the years to come. Cheers friends.
